We have a fresh load of Joomla 2.5.19 and the latest K2. All the articles are created with K2 both nothing is being shown in front end...

I'm guessing it a problem with the template (which is a std Joomla template)... but can't see any documentation regarding this.

Any thoughts would be great...

J2.5.19 is the current J2.5.##

If you mean why aren't we using J Ver 3.xx..

simply not all the extension we are using are fully compatible. We are continuing to test with several sites but until we are happy that nothing conflicts, so we are continuing with J2.5.19

But back to topic are you saying that joomla Ver 3.30 doesn't have this issue??

Firstly I'd just like to identify the issue.

The documentation is very light on for such a used product... so its either something very simple.. or.. maybe a server clash... but I'm still putting me money on the template.. it's a std template I have seen some hack around for templates but no real discussion on what is needed .. if anything..

Have you created a menu link to K2 or a K2 module to display K2 items?

Yes I've tried menus using the K2 section with both categories and items. I haven't used the tags or latest blog as yet..

Might be a dumb question, but did you make sure the items are published?


Another thing you may check is if you have Introtext marked as Hide under Item view options in category listings and you don't have an Introtext in the article you'll get nothing.
