k2 tools Archive redirects to homepage, how to fix was created by Selma Nouzha
Hi,
I am using the Archive module in K2 tools, when I click to list items of any month, the URL changes to 127.0.0.1/sitename/index.php/itemlist/date/2014/4 but it redirects me to the homepage. I am using the same module on another site, it works fine but the URL is 127.0.0.1/sitename2/index.php/component/k2/itemlist/date/2013/10..So I am missing "/component/k2/" on my first site once I add it to the URL it works fine.
So I need your help please on how to add "/component/k2/" to the code to make the module works correctely.
Thank you in advance.

Hi. Do you have any template overrides for the module? Ensure that:
1. K2 is up to date.
2. Joomla! is up to date.
3. You have not messed up with K2 advanced SEF options. If K2 advanced SEF is enabled try to disable it.

Thank you Kavadas for your reply,
Actually i am running the latest version of joomla (2.5.20) and K2 (2.6.8 ). Also K2 advnced SEF is disabled.
Is there a way to add the missing part of the URL in the code.
Thank you.

The date listings are using the generic.php layout. You can take a read at getk2.org/documentation/tutorials/174-templating-with-k2-and-the-concepts-of-sub-templates to learn how you can change the markup. Before you do so, check the K2 parameters. There are some options for date listings there.
