I am trying to change the tag settings in K2 Parameters. I want to change the Item created date & time to Hide.

I can change the radio buttons, but when I press 'Save' or 'Save & Close', (or Cancel) whilst the K2 menu item is selected, there is no action. Nothing happens. The Save and Close, doesn't Save or Close. The Cancel button also fails. To get out of the screen, one must select Global Configuration, and then a new screen is displayed. When coming back to check the settings, nothing has been saved.

Hi. The parameters are part of the Joomla! core not K2. K2 just provides the XML. Is it working for other extensions? I just tested and it works fine for me under Joomla! 3.3. Check your browser for javascript errors.

I only noticed it stopped working when I upgraded to Joomla 3.3, so I suspect (like you) that it is a Joomla issue! I guess I need to go back to the Joomla.org site and report the bug there.

As for java script errors, I have opened firebug to check, but I'm not entirely sure I know what I am looking for! However, I haven't seen anything that jumps out and says error, have script or otherwise.
I haven't knowingly changed any code. I have Akeeba, K2, and T3 frame work all loaded as well as the JCE editor plugin.
Sometime today, I see if I can restore from an earlier backup and see if the problem goes away. Interesting that you don't have the bug! What have I done that is different to you? (Don't answer that, it's rhetorical!)

Using Firebug you can see the errors at the "Console" tab. Maybe there is a third-party plugin in your setup causing this. But you didn't answer my question: Is it working for other extensions ( like Banners for example ) ?

Sorry, I missed (didn't understand the question), but have it now. No it doesn't work with banners either, so that confirms (probably) that it's not K2.
I have opened up Firebug, and yes it throws an error when I press Save;

ReferenceError: Hash is not defined. in validate.js (line 4).

However, Contacts do work when the update is made, and the Cancel button works here too. I have since uninstalled the JCE editor, and it hasn't rectified the problem.

I have removed and recovered from a backup pre-Joomla 3.3, ie I'm now back on Joomla! 3.2.3 Stable 6 March 2014.

The error I reported is no longer apparent, and so is not the problem of K2, as previously noted above.

Note that Joomla! 3.3 has a minimum requirement for PHP 5.3.10. If your server does not meet the requirements then you should update to Joomla! 3.2.4.

In short I had two sites that had the same issue. I restored one of the sites to a previous version of Joomla (J3.2.3) from a backup, and the problem went away. However, in a different thread to the one above, there was mention of this problem and solution might be to clear the cache on the browser. I did that and checked the site that still was on J3.3.0, and the problem went away. ie by clearing the cache the error issue was fixed.
