K2 & K2 Tool Problem was created by Tejinder Pal Singh
Hi,

I have installed K2 for my articles, and i have created the articles and menu as below.

1. I have created 3 categories in K2 i.e. News, Newsletter and Blog
2. Created items for each category.
3. Created Menu in Menu manager for all Categories
Main Menu >> Menu Item Type >> K2 >> Option >> Select Category >> News
Main Menu >> Menu Item Type >> K2 >> Option >> Select Category >> Newsletter
Main Menu >> Menu Item Type >> K2 >> Option >> Select Category >> Blog

Now the problem comes , when i open blog page from the main menu, its shows me all the items (News and Newsletter) items in blog page. But when i opens News or Newsletter Page from main menu, it shows only the items, which are added to their respective categories.

also same problem with K2 tool in module...

I have created Archive module and selected the category "Newsletter", but when i click on the link where i have displayed the module on my website. its shows Blog's URL in the browser. and also shows the heading of blog.

News Page

and on the right side of the bottom under the heading "Newsletter Archive"

Hi. Regarding your questions:

1. The blog page in K2 shows items based on users, not based on categories. If you want to restrict the blog page results to a category you need to set this category in the menu link settings.

2. Regarding the module i don't get what you mean. The blog URL is included in the URL because it is the previous page. Regarding the title you can make a template override and edit it or remove it.

Please help how to set these

this link. this is not the correct link

Now the my fir query is now working properly i.e. 1
and my 2 query is still creating problem

It is the correct link. This module generates date links not category links. This link will give you all the items that were created in May of 2014 and that belong to category 49.
