I have installed K2 in my joomla and i have created the 3 categories and also have the formatted text content in the categories, but the formatting is not displaying on the page when open in website.

Hi. What kind of formatting are you talking about? Is the code you have added saved? is it there if you edit the item again? Maybe the editor you are using is stripping the HTML you have added.

I am using default editor i.e. tinymce. i have added tables, list, font size, headings etc. but nothing is shown.

Please help

Check the "Content Cleanup" section in K2 parameters.
