My requirement is to get front end form that users can add details (first name, lastname, state.. etc..) and save them as a Item with extra fields.

Do you have inbuilt component like that or I can use K2 Story component.

Hi. With K2 you can have front-end editing for items. You could create a set of extra fields and assign them to a specific category where users will submit items.

What I need is users to create items from the front end. they dont have to be registered users. They can fill the form with extra fields and it will be saved in k2 as a item.

this is what i want. i found out a component called k2 story but their support is really bad and they based in asia which has really big time difference.

but I really want to use k2 as the component as i can see k2 has better control on the content as well as content can be manage well.

can someone help me. unfortunately i am running out of time as well. :(

There is no way to enable front-end editing in K2 for guests. Users must sign in first.
