I´m searching for a simple solutions to deal with ACL in K2 backend.
Hi need to grant acess to a group of users (Author Group) for creation and edition of articles only to certain K2 categories in backend.
After creation, this articles need to be aproved for publishing by a user with that privilegies in backend (Manager Group).

Is there a way to deal with this issue?

Hello Semedo,

You change K2's ACL from the extension's parameters (permissions tab).
If you want even more options then I would suggest you use front-end editing.
