In the Joomla backend, I have removed the option .doc (word document) from the legal file extensions, yet users seem able to still upload .doc files when adding a new item from the front-end via the attachment tab. Am I missing something?

Secondly, when a user uploads than image through the image tab that is over the allowed size there is no alert stating the image is too big. The user simply gets confirmation of the item submitting successful yet the image does not upload. Again, am I missing something?

Thanks

Hi. The settings in media manager affect the Joomla! media manager and have absolutely nothing to do with K2 attachments. There is no option to restrict specific file types in K2 attachments. Regarding the message when the image is not uploaded, this is something we can add in an upcoming version.
