I have one more problem: I've set my category to have 1 leading article. I want the other articles to go into 2 columns, but it doesn't work. All articles are leading.

Am I missing something?

Maybe you display the Blog on Menu with different Categories. If so, you have to set Layout in Menu.

Or your Categorie have inherit Setting from another Categorie. If so, you have to undo inherit and Layout Settings in Categorie.

Actually this is the user view, not the category view.
These settings only work and are only meant for categories.
