Hi everyone!

I have images that already been resized and saved for web with photoshop, and the file sizes are around 80kb. When I upload them with K2 the file size increases to about 200kb even though the dimensions are the same as the original. In other words, it adds over 50% kb to uploaded images that are already reduced in size and saved for web.

Does anyone know how I can get around this without lowering the image quality?

If you are using 100% quality for generated images, then GD will unfortunately produce larger images. Try using a quality around 75 - 80%.

You won't notice any changes. These settings are located in the extension's parameters.
