Having just installed K2 for the 1st time I find that I now have too many components in my admin menu to be able to scroll down far enough to see the k2 menu link

I have installed a component that allows me to add new menu items to the admin menu but this is done by url rather than component

Could you please let me know what the admin urls are for the k2 admin menu links
I have managed to identify the main component url - administrator/index.php?option=com_k2
But that is all

K2 publishes a module on your site's dashboard.
You can manage your content from there as well without the need to memorise any URLs.
