i have a problem, i'm trying to insert the <i></i> html tag in the k2 article title, but when i save it the tag aren't saved (rightly i think).
The problem is i need this feature to insert plant botanical name, the example mandatory nomenclature is:

Albizia julibrissin (Willd.) Durazzo

some words are italic and some not.

Is there a way to solve this problem?

Well, add this with a little css:

h2.itemTitle{
font-style:italic;
}

thank you for your answer but unfortunately in this way the title will be all italic. Instead i need some word in italic and some not, like in this example:
