Hi,

i'm trying to create a menu item to a Category List that shows the same result as in Joomla 3. I can't find a way in K2 to show for example the Hits and the publishing date in the Category list.

I've attached some screenshots

Regards,
Patrick

You have to do two things.

Edit that category's settings and have only the title date and hit show up.
The you will need to do some styling and/or add a simple grid system for your layout to have the proper columns.

This post will help you with the overrides.

Hey, thanks for this answer. But the main problem is that in the category settings there are no date and hits options. The option for title is there!

I'm using the newest K2 and Joomla version.

Kind regards,
Patrick

Actually there are, "Hits" and "Item created date and time" under IItem view options in category listings

Hi, yes i know. But these settings are for the 'articles' not for the list of articles in the category view.

I've included a screenshot in my original post. 1 is the Joomla category list including date and hits. The other is the K2 category list, which does not include these elements, only the title of the article.

Thanks for thinking with me,
Patrick

The IItem view options in category listings tab is for the category listings.
Make sure you are editing the proper K2 category.

Yesssss, thank you. I had the leading count set to zero and the Links count set to 999. The Links don't have the possibilities of the Leading articles. Very nice, thank you again
