please was there a way to change the default items layout of k2 ,i want to make theme looking like a portfolio i tried mini k2 module but its just display items in sidebar or .....im using gantry framework for information.

As for your request, this is a custom implementation of a jQuery sorting script.
This should be done with overriding category.php and implementing the script.
You will have to use some sort of identifier. This can be either the item's tags or a number of extrafields.
