I am trying K2 for my site www.bsaclub.com. I am having a problem that I cant seem to turn off ratings even though I tried to turn it off in the categories item area and it claims to be off, however, the stars persist

Make sure the categories you are editing do not inherit their values from other categories.

the categories do not inherit values, and, when I check the settings it says rating(voting) hide.

Ok, then try to browse your site using the ?template=system as a suffix in your urls (&template=system if you are not using SEF).

If the rating does not appear then it is hardcoded in your templates.
