Front-end HTML5 Image Uploader was created by Jaz Parkyn
Hi, I'm using K2 on a website that is updated on the front end by its users, everything works fine on a normal computer, but as *all* users will be posting content from their Surface RTs, the HTML5 upload fails to work or fallback. The surface RTs use IE11 and state that HTML5 uploads are not supported and we are unable to download another browser due to microsoft's greediness.

Is there a way to 'turn off' the HTML5 uploader or switch back to something that will be compatible with the surfaces?

Hi. What uploader are you talking about? K2 does not use an uploader it is using a standard HTML file input field which should work with all browsers.

I've just realised that the problem is with the image gallery that I'm using within K2 - Droppics. Considering switching it out. Is there any that you would recommend? non-HTML5, non-flash and front-end compatible?
