Some attachments work, others dont was created by Kevin
Hi,
I have this problem. Some files uploaded as attachments can be downloaded by the users and others dont.
The files are correctly uploaded, i can see them in /media/k2/attachments. I can also see them in database backend that they are have correct filename etc
When you click on those files to download them you get msg that the file was downloaded and that it has 0 size.
Other files work fine though. If anything was to be responsible for this problem what would that be?
Its a joomla 3.1 running k2 2.6.8
Thanks

View the media/k2/attachments with your FTP client.
Do the files there have the proper size?
Also are you using UTF-8 latin chars in your filenames?
Do any of your filenames contain spaces or characters like "! ? > < /" ?

1. Yes they have the correct filesize. If i use domainname.com/media/k2/attachments/filename it downloads fine.
2. The specific files which are not working no, their name is like "file_name.rar"
p.s:. There are many other files uploaded with not english charatacters and with spaces but they work fine!
i have disabled Cache but no luck. Its very weird to me.
non-english-characters are uploaded and replaced by YYYYYYY in filename only if its a .rar.
If its a picture or word or pdf it doesnt replace anything

Ok,
Could you try with the DEV version.
Also updating Joomla! to 3.3 is not a good idea.
getk2.org/assets/get/
PS. Backup first.
