You need to edit that category's settings.

Hi There,
I found several methods on the web and tried them all without any change. These included global settings.comments tab (set to"disable for everybody"), Item level> item view options (comments = hide) category level> item view options (comments = hide) and finally I tried a css over-ride. Dont know what else to do. Has anybody had this problem?
Regards,
Brian

Problem solved, I re-installed K2 and found that I had control over the comments. May have been a problem from when I migtrated to J3.3

Brian make sure the categories you are editing are not inheriting their values from another category.
