today I face new problem.
My Problem: I want to add k2 item image from another server. I insert image through (I tried from another server url & from my own server) image insert code from item editing page

Then I save that item. After that When I click the menu which contains that k2 item like antivirus menu. It doesn't show the image. I selected "Menu Item Type" K2 categories.

But when I opened the k2 item from category, it showed that image which I insert

Actually, I use limited hosting space. So it is difficult to me to upload item image to my web server.
Important: I active item image show from k2 category, also in menu (k2 category)...
Have you solution for me ???

This solution has to do with your server setup.
You have to ask your hosting provider if he can point the /media folder to another server.

There are also extensions for CDN which do exactly this.
They move your media to other servers or services.

Actually, I mean I want to use a image e.g: s11.postimg.org/m9tibxbhf/image.png as my item image.
I think k2 doesn't have this function.
I use many joomla extension which can show image in the view of k2 item if the k2 item image doesn't have. These extension, show the 1st image of the k2 item if the k2 item image doesn't exist.
Actually I inserted a image by a html code & placed it at the start of k2 item. The image is showed everywhere perfectly (even some extension). But when I click menu (menu contains k2 category item list) the image can't be seen. The image show everywhere except k2 category menu

This method is not bulletproof as you found out.
Also what happens if postimg goes down?

I would suggest that you use a CDN instead.
Furthermore you can get a VPS for 5$ a month with 20gb storage.

When you insert an image in the editor it is attached in the introtext ( or fulltext ) of the item. Since you want to display that image in the list you need to setup the list so it displays the introtext of the items. To do this you need to either edit the category settings ( or the menu link settings in case this is a menu link to multiple categories ).
