K2 Parameters throwing 501 error when saving

I had my website premounted from the template company I bought it from and due to an unfortunately poor decision in default parameters, dunno if from K2 or the Template guys, I got a spam attack in my website due to the comments being allowed to everyone without account or using captcha as default.
Anyway it was my fault for not checking but I was still setting up the website and didnt got to it.
My problem, so now I cant bring my website up due to not be able to change the parameters related to K2.
I tried in other stuff and it works, some examples of stuff that worked: Banners, Articles, Smart Search, Media Manager, Menus Manager. All this worked without any issue.
My browser is not trowing any error at all, like jquery stuff, but when I change a parameter related to K2 and try to save it, I get this errors:
Not Implemented
GET to /administrator/index.php not supported.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I went and tried to get more info with the browser and what the browser is throwing is:
/index.php?option=com_config
501 Not Implemented
Any suggestion on how can I fix it??
Thank you in advance.

This problem seems to be sitewide not only a K2 issue.

No I dont have a restore although it wouldnt be relevant since Im having the same issue in 2 websites using templates from the same company in the same host.
Im getting some weird, random problems here and there so yeah I suspect it would be something about either the joomla installation or something with the host.
Although most of the problems seem to be only happening in back-end, where the front-end works always when you kinda fix it.
One of the websites where I have the same issue its a fresh installation, is anyway I can get some more details on the error?
Thanks.

Hi. Try to update both K2 and Joomla! to their latest versions. Remember to backup your site first.

Joomla at 3.3.6
K2 at 2.6.8
When I installed I got no error, so how can I check if joomla is installed correctly?
Thanks.

Check your file permissions, and basically test your entire site.

Hi,
I ive been doing some stuff, so the permissions are all set to 755 for Directories and 644 for Files.
I went and changed the parameters for K2 directly in the database which worked.
How can I see detailed errors from PhP??
Thanks.

A misconfigured mod_security (Apache module) is the culprit.
You need to address this issue to your hosting provider.
