I'm trying to figure out a way that I can set a background image on <body> for each K2 item. I'm using the Image tab for another image. If I create an additional field for the item how would I select the image to apply to the body?

Your help is much appreciated.

That would have to be via a K2 plugin.
An example plugin can be found here: getk2.org/extend/extensions/90-example-k2-plugin-for-developers

An alternate method would be to enter the URL through an extrafield and render that field inside a <style> tag.
