I am using Joomla 2.5.14 and K2 within one of my projects.
Following problem occurs.
Please support!

1. I want to add an item in K2 in my joomla admin site (to the "News")
2. After Klick on K2 and “New” for creating a new item, I filled out all required fields.
3. But after Klick on Save, following error is shown:
500 - An error has occurred.

Hi. Turn on system debugging under Joomla! global configuration and try again. This time you should get a more descriptive error message. Finally note that your Joomla! version is outdated and contains security risks. I strongly recommend to update your site as soon as possible to 2.5.27. In any case remember to backup your site first.

You have two issues here. The first one is coming from the finder plugin. If you don't need it, just disable it. The second issue has to do with your logs directory. It looks like the finder plugin tries to log it's error but the configured log directory is not writable. Ensure that you have set a correct path for the log and tmp directory under Joomla! global configuration and that those directories are writable.
