Delete imported Jomla articles? was created by JJ Spelman
HI, I have successfully imported all Joomla blog items (articles) into a new K2 Category for blog posts. Great feature!!!

Now that they are in the K2 component, do I delete the old articles in Joomla? Just looking to clean house and create less clutter and possible confusion.

Hi. This is totally up to you. Since you are planning to build your site using K2, Joomla! articles are not required anymore but you can keep them for future reference or backup. Of course just importing the articles will not transform your site to K2 only. You have also to update all the menu links to point to K2 as well as replace any articles related modules with K2 modules. In any case remember to backup your site first.
