HI, new user here. Trying to figure out how to get an event listing using K2.

In the extension description on the JED site, it says:

Using K2, you can transform your Joomla! website to a news/magazine site with author blogs, product catalogs, work portfolio, knowledge base, download/document manager, directory listing, event listing & more, all this bundled under one package!

Yet I can find no reference to that feature here. Have i missed something? Does anyone have any information about using event listings without having to use another extension?

An event can be a K2 item.
By using extrafields you can have all the event's info like the venue, the dates and a map.

There are several extensions that offer sorting from extrafileds if you want to add extra functionality to your K2 site.
