Sorry if this is a repeat from another thread, I did search but couldn't find the answers I needed.
I have a website which was set up by a third person who I am no longer in touch with. My blog has been set up as K2 items which are functioning perfectly but I am noticing that all the posts have the same meta description in Google despite me writing specific ones in the box provided.

I am assuming that there is a main setup option that I need to change but I am unable to find it as I am not very techy.

Any information would be great.

Which version of Joomla! and K2 are you using?

Thanks for the quick response. I am using K2 v2.6.6 and Joomla! 2.5.11. I am not sure what SEO plugins I am using as I did not set it up. I am just using the standard right hand data boxes within the item pages.

Where would I be able to find this information?

Hi. Both K2 and the CMS are outdated. You need to update them. Updating K2 to 2.6.8 should probably fix your issue. Updating Joomla! to 2.5.27 will secure your site against known issues. If the guy who setup the site has not modified any core K2/Joomla! files you should have no issue with the updates. In any case remember to backup your site first.
