Hi everyone !

I met K2 Component a long time ago. But this is the FIRST time I am using it in large scale !

But, I am having trouble to setup the following configuration.

On category view I want to display an image, and this is working fine.

But when the user click to check the item content, instead of showing the same imagem (but larger), I would like to display a video.

Is there any way to accomplish that ?

I was able to find a solution:

1) I edited the category options, and on tab "item view options" I have set Image to Hide instead of Show. With this change, images are displayed on category view but not on item view.

2) on Global Configuration I set the Joomla Editor to None (to be able to add Youtube embed code to articles)

3) I added the Youtube embed code to the begging of my item ...

Now I have the effect desired !

You should use the AllVideos extension to embed videos. It is much easier.

You can also override the item.php file and display the video instead of the image if a video is present.
