I am currently using joomla 2.5 and K2 V2.6.7.

Jobs in portal to add content to a number of publishers from the front, into articles.

Use k2tools searching, because I need to conduct searches only within certain categories.

Now, I seek to add tags to items they create with the idea of improving the search, and although the labels are created and displayed correctly (label looks like: xxx, within the articles), I can not get k2tools perform the search within those tags.

In Search - K2 Plugin have enabled tag search.

I tried to change, remove, modify tags .... but I can not search a tags .

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi. K2 tools cannot search for tags. The "Search - K2" plugin option concerns the Joomla! search.

is it still true that the K2 item tags are not used in the Smart Search? I work with a programmer. Do you think it is possible to programm it? If yes, do you have the first direction?

What you should do is create a new module based on the K2 Tools search module.

Open the module's helper and based on this you can extend its functionality.

Open the /modules/mod_k2_tools folder.
You will find all of K2 Tools's files there.

could you please help me understand this?

In our tries to search and find K2 items by their tags I have red your answer to Philippe that we need to modify the K2 tools search.

I thought that I modify the K2 finder plugin so that the K2 tags will be inserted in the-process. Or are the tags already indexed?
