K2 and Joomla ACLs was created by Timothy Michel
If I were using plain Joomla, I could create a user group say declassify-28pages that is a child of Editor. I can then go into say category declassify-28pages (if I was using Joomla Categories) and I could set access level to declassify-28pages (at least I think I could do this, I redirected all links to Joomla Articles and Categories to K2 Items and Categories). The point is, if I create a user group of declassify-28pages in the Joomla User Manager how do I restrict that group to just editing things in the K2 category declassify-28pages?

I guess the question should be will K2 be supporrting all hte Joomla ACLs in hte future? Like below: - Just Right Click and select "Open in New Tab" and the screen shot will display

Hello Timothy,

This post will help you. getk2.org/documentation/tips-a-tricks/201-allowing-users-to-submit-content

Additionally you need to set the "Assign group permissions to these categories" option.
