I used it for news of university.

After tryed mod_K2_tools as tags i see different of URL.

I create for each category menu item.
I create for each tag menu item.

But i see different
=> ON K2 PAGE ARTICLE
category URL OK as menu alias
tag url NOT NOT OK as menu (only as ...../my-category-alias/my-subcategory-alias/itemlist/tag/cyrillic text with spaces)
And mod_k2_Tools not used menu alias for tag too.

What i must do for used menui tem as tag in url of k2 links?

Hello Igor,

The tags will use the current menu item as their base if they do not belong to a menu item.
You can solve this by creating a K2 menu item pointing to all categories bellow all other menu items.

This way all orphan tags will be rendered from that menu item.

I tryed many variants, but result as before.
I need locked 1 page for many authors.
And i used tags as authors info for one article.

I have structure menu as
(1) Main category K2 menuitem (without parent)
(1.1) subcategory #1 K2 menuitem
(1.2) subcategory #2 K2 menuitem
(1.3) subcategory #3 K2 menuitem
.....
(2) Menuitem for Authors (without parent)
(2.1) author #1K2 TAG#1 menuitem
(2.2) author #1K2 TAG#2 menuitem
....

I tryed many variants.
(2) under (1)
(2) as milticategory type menu
I tryed TEST move (2.1) as submenu of parent category (1.1.1), but nothing change

The bad URL example you sent me is a result of that tag not belonging to a menu item.
Did you try my solution?

Create a menu link to K2 categories and don't select any category. This way, all unresolved links will be assigned to this menu, preventing duplicates.

And url of TAG
/ua/avtori/nozhovnik-oleg-mikolajovich

That is good.
But i read attention note in this option about warning for server.
I plan create menu for authors (as tag) 200-500
and article with that tag 4000+.

It is one way for good url in tag?

If you are using caching and your server is not underpowered I do think it will have that much of an issue.

My tags suddenly became broken - specifically, the URLs are displaying the tag name instead of alias in URL (capital letters & spaces, instead of lowercase with dashes):
domain.com/tag/Tag%20Name

I followed your instructions and created a hidden menu titled "View" and saved it without adding any K2 categories, but the problem still persists:
domain.com/view/tag/Tag%20Name

What else could be the issue?

This is a different issue.
You need to enable the tag normalisation option in K2's settings. This will work for newly created tags only.
