Let me preface this question with this. I'm developing a new site and working to create it under my private website where I build my sites for my clients, then I back them up and move them to their main hosting account when I'm ready to 'go live' with them. The full URL path will not be the same URL after go live. /mydevsite/migration/clientsite/...

I'm so used to the basic Joomla Article system, that moving to K2 is throwing me for a loop... I need to link an image from one K2 item to another. I'm used to being able to navigate to the articel under "content" when using the JCE editor.

When I click on the 'link' icon in the Item, I get an empty field. Do I just find the URL from the frontend and paste it in?

What happens when I migrate it to it's final hosting place, I don't want all of my links to be broken.

JCE by default only supports links for Joomla!'s default items.
You need to install this plugin to get the most out of JCE
