I just did an import from my old joomla articles. I have set up a menu item with a drop down of articles for specific tags.
The problem is that the import created tags out of the old metadata and keywords from the old joomla articles and did not import the joomla tags.

Is there a way to associate the joomla tags with K2 tags?
I batch added all the tags in joomla since K2 does not have a batch add function. If it did then I could just batch proccess the k2 articles. easy peasy.

My other solution is to go into 1200 articles and manually tag them Ug!
Anyone know how to import the joomla tags and not the keyword/meta data?

Hi. Currently the import process does not support the new core tags mechanism which was added in Joomla! 3.x series. This is something that needs discussion since the core tags can also have nested levels while K2 tags are always a flat structure.
