Hello, we have these child-catogory png that are 24k when exported from photoshop. Once uploaded on K2 they double and become 50+ k ! The dimensions remains the same.

I've checked into K2 general parameters; image processing quality is set to 100%. Also Category image width (in px) is se to the actual png I am uploading wicht is 180x180 px (so this field is set to 180).

Any clues?

Also for these Child Category, 8 of them, we would like to make 2 collumn side by side. As of now, the 8 child category item are alined on the left with a 49% default width.

Is it possible to customize these child category view?

PHP will buff up your image sizes if you are using 100% quality. A value of around 75% - 85% will not affect the quality and the size will be significantly smaller.

The grid of each category (and the subcategories block) can be changed from that category's settings.
