How to Hide Category Title and RSS Icon in Listing was created by Tania Wickman

How do you hid the Category Title, Count and RSS Icon when in Category Listing mode.

I just want the the Items listed without showing the Category heading, image, count and RSS icon.

Select the category in question
Look at the category view options on the right and disable what you do not want

I have everything set to hide but the Category, Count and RSS feed are still showing.

I even have the Item in the Parameters all RSS set to Hide
In the Parameters under Advanced I have Item counter next to the category title in the category manager set to Off

The Category title, count and RSS icon are still showing.

These elements can be hidden from the category's settings.

We're having this same issue. We've set all titles and "View More" links to hidden within both Category and subCategory settings and they still show up in the category listing. Is this a bug for K2 within Joomla 2.5 sites? (Our View more links were changed to "View Pictures".)

After much pain and suffering I was able to achieve the results that I was looking. Still don't know how I did it, but it can be done. Is there a tutorial on how each of the categories settings work with and without subcategories and how the parameters affect each?

You may have set your categories to inherit settings from another category.

Hello,

Please read my last two posts.
This setting is located in the category's settings.
If you are using a multiple category menu item, the setting is located in the menu item's settings.
