I have K2 categories set up what seems correctly to me but as still seeing content which I was sure I had turned off.

Here is an example page:
gmf.cloudaccess.net/surfaces/backsplashes

Currently the Creation Date and the Name of the Author is displaying.
I want to remove both of those two from this category layout!

What I have set in the K2 parameters is the following:

Item view options in category listings:
Author: Hide
Item created date and time: Hide

so, I expect them to be hidden. This page is a single category page so there should be no overriding this with the Menu items. Any insights on this would be appreciated. This is not my first K2 site so it does have me baffled.

i am wondering if my template could be creating this issue. Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated!

You can browse the page with another or the default template to verify if this is indeed a template issue.

Furthermore you need to verify that this category is not inheriting its settings from another category.
