I am using K2 for my blog and I also use a Joomla plugin to block the thousands of spam messages that are put in my blog comments.
It's a very clever plugin that works without filling in any annoying captcha tokens or anything, just by adding extra fields to the forms that spambots will fill in and real people will not.
The Antispam plugin worked fine with K2 until around may 2014, after that I received thousands of spam comments anyway...
The programmer of the spam plugin tells me that the K2 comment form uses ajax to post the comment, if I can configure it to don't use ajax then all will be fine.
So my questions are:
- Did it work in a different way in older versions then, without ajax?
- Can I turn ajax off in any way?
