Hi Krikore, I am currently creating sub-templates for K2 version 3 and I have couple of questions.

1) Are you expecting any more changes to be added to the k2 template files from now to stable release (particularly category.php, item.php and itemlist_item.php)? I am wondering if I create the sub-templates now, should I also be prepared for any changes that are yet (or pending) to be added to the template section?

2) In the php files, if I am not going to be using a few blocks (such as Print, Email, Author block etc..), am I better off removing it from the php file? I mean, although these settings can be enabled or disabled from the backend, I am wondering if I remove the block entirely from php file itself, would that reduce the amount of extra queries it takes to check if its enabled or not? Or it doesnt make a difference if its only 1 query done automatically to check all settings?
