I'm using a tag cloud to filter tags from a certain category. It is showing the module with all categories.

The pics show I am checking one category in the module.

The other image shows an article from another category that is being counted and comes up when I click on a link in the tag cloud.

I had the same problem and it's because the K2 cloud filter only the tags in the module but not the items that comes up after the click.
To set a filter category i found here that i have to create a menu item for each tag and use the fillter of the menu item

Which version of K2 are you using?
