we're currently running the K2 forum in version 2.5.1 with Joomla 2.5.27 but I need to update the forum to use a specific plugin.
As I don't see an automatic update function for the K2 Forum in the backend I was doing a manual update by installing the latest version (2.6.9) "over" the current one. After the upload I get the message "Updated was successful" but when I look at it in the fronted I notice a lot of UI glitches (which is not so bad and can be fixed) but worse, the login to the forum leads me to the default "404 - page not found" of Joomla.
Interestingly I'm successfully loged in and see the forum posts when I reload the "404 error" page, which leads me to the conclusion that the URL itself is not incorrect.
Does anyone know this issue? Any hint is great appreciated!
