Web installer killing entire site was created by Jens Lorentsen
Hey,
wanted to report an issue i've come across.
When attempting to install via the built in web installation in Joomla 3.3 i get the following error and am unable to acces the site both front and back end.
Fatal error: Class 'JResponse' not found in /home/www/jensl.dk/plugins/system/k2/k2.php on line 493

Or maybe it wasnt the web installer. I get this when attempting installation from manually downloaded file:
An error has occurred.
1146 Table 'jlorentsen_jensl.bir41_k2_categories' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `bir41_k2_categories`

In Joomla!'s Admin area go to Extension Manager > Discover (side bar nav)
Click on the "Discover" button at the top.
Find all of the K2 files that weren't installed and select them. Click on "Install" button at the top.
Go back to Extension Manager > Install

Ok, I assume you have FTP access for your site.
Try to remove all K2 related folder. Both in the components/modules and in the administrator folder.
Double check your tmp for remaining K2 files as well.
This should get your site working again. Once you remove K2, backup and try reinstalling it.
Chances are the file was not properly downloaded from the installer and files are present where they should not be (or vice versa).

Hmm now i have the issue again, both from local upload and web installer.
1146 Table 'jlorentsen_jensl.bir41_k2_categories' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `bir41_k2_categories`
****
And no success on older versions of K2. Tried all between latest and 2.6.0

Thx for your help.
