Problem with K2 Category Inheritance was created by George Hasler
Hello Support
I love your product but I have a problem with inheritance of 'Item View parameters' across multiple levels of categories. This is in K2 2.6.9 with the latest joomla 3.3.6.
My category structure looks as follows:
Master category (Item View Parameters for all categories are set here)
Sites Category (Inherits from Master)
Hospitals Category (Inherits from Sites)
Hospital 1 Item
Hospital 2 Item
When I assign 'Hospital 1' Item to a menu item and display it, it does not display with the parameters from Master Category but with the default version Item View paramters (everything is turned on). So it looks like any item in category 'Hospital' (like Hospital 1 Item) is unable to inherit the view parameters from the Master category. Only if I assign 'Hospital 1 Item' to the Master Category directly, will it wok. Assigning to any of its children will not work.
I tried with another template, same result. There seems to be a problem with multi-level inheritance of Item View Parameters.
Of course there is always a possibility that I overlooked an important detail.
Thanks so much for your help.

Hello George, Inheritance works on a single level only.
This means that all your categories should inherit the settings from the same (master) category.
