Hi,

Falang is used to translate the content, not the variables used by the template or extensions. Language variables can be translated using the native language manager at "Extensions" -> "Language Manager" -> "Overrides".

The language file is located under /language/xx-XX/xx-XX/mod_socialconnect.ini .

Hello,
The language file is in administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_socialconnect.ini (..mod_socialconnect.ini for the module).

You need to duplicate these files, rename them to your language code and move them to the proper language folder. Now you can use a text editor to translate the extension.

If you want to translate a single language string you can use the method Lefteris suggested.
