I've a Joomla! powered website and I use K2 for publishing and managing my articles. Though it is a great component, but I've noticed that K2 is generating wrong canonical URL for my items. For example: here is the base URL: creativica.in/news-n-events/news-events/prag-cine-awards-2015-to-be-held-in-dibrugarh and K2 is generating cononical url: creativica.in/news-n-events/news-events . Is it alright?

Well the plugin does what it says. But I want my canonical url to be similar to my base url, but this plugin is removing the canonical URL from my whole website.

K2 does not generate any canonical URLs. IN order to generate canonical links, you need an extension.

Krikor is correct...what type of template are your using?
I am also experience a problem with the canonical URL with one of my templates.
