Hi,
Needed to move my site to a new server but needed to tone down overall file size to make it easier.
Very hastily and stupidly erased root > media > k2 > items > cache thinking it would be regenerated at page load.

Source files are still intact - is there any way to generate new cache files without having to go into each item and save?

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this. You have to write a custom PHP script that will generate again all the images from the existing sources.

Same problem here. So what if we change images sizes in k2 settings ? We also need to write a script ?
I remember that in the pas there was a logic implemented in k2, that generated missing caches on page load.
