I have several K2 items that are displayed on a category page called "Products". The items are also grouped by their category and displayed on individual category pages called "Bray, Fabrotech, Mueller" etc... The issue is that when an item is clicked, the breadcrumbs and navigation menu display the user's location as the individual category page. Even if the item is clicked on the "Products" page.

Products page:
After clicking an item on this page, the breadcrumbs are Home > "Manufacturer Name" > Item Name. This is incorrect. It should read, Home > Products > Item Name. The navigation menu also suggests that the user has been transferred to the wrong page because the "Manufacturers" nav is active but "Products" nav should be active.

Individual Category page:
After clicking an item on this page, the breadcrumbs are Home > "Manufacturer Name" > Item Name. This is correct.

Did you turn of caching for the breadcrumbs module?

Yes, I should've mentioned, caching is turned off.

I got this link under which the breadcrumb was working as intended.
I think there is a possible issue in your setup. Can you send me a printscreen of both your menu setup and your K2 categories?

I removed the categories from the Individual Category Pages; however, the breadcrumbs are still duplicated:
Category Page
Article Page

After removing the Individual Category Pages, the item/parent relationship was no longer an issue. Then I switched back to Joomla's breadcrumb module and this resolved the duplicate breadcrumb issue. If either of these issues are relevant in the future, I'll be suer to return but thanks for now!

Keep in mind two things.
a) The duplicate link issue is due to K2 following the categories path instead of the menu path. The K2 Tools breadcrumb is ideal when the menu structure follows the categories structure.

b) If you only want the menu path to show on the breadcrumbs (disregarding the item's path) then the mod_breadcrumbs is the proper solution.
