I am installing a fresh website with the latest version of Joomla 3.3.6
When Installed it I received this error below

1146 Table 'sugarnsp_joomdb.v2iwd_k2_categories' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `v2iwd_k2_categories`


Last time installed 2k on a different website I had no issues and the file was created in the component section? Would the file need to be there first?

It is possible that there are files from a previous installation left in the /tmp folder.
Empty that folder and try again.

If the issue persists, then open your phpMyAdmin and manually drop K2's tables, empty the /tmp folder and try again.

I can install other modules and components.
Tried to install the K2 2.6.9 in a empty Joom 3.3.6, 3.4.0 und 3.4.1

Table 'DirkBorde.hny3q_k2_categories' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `hny3q_k2_categories`

Cleaned TMP & Log with admintools
There is no table in phpmyadmin that contains K2

Check the tmp folder with your FTP client to see if there are files left.
Also make sure that your files/ folders have the correct permissions.
