K2 Articel view with start page moduls was created by Matthias Hettenkofer
Hello,

I'm having a small issue here.
I have created a view articles in K2. Some of them I have assigned to a certain page via K2 > Article. (Example: egmatingfussball.bplaced.net/fbat/index.php/abteilung/mitgliedschaft)
Others though don't have a certain page assigned to them. Instead I have pages that I have created via K2 > categories. Those sites show articles in a blog view.
The problem I have is that those articles without a certain site assigned to them show modules (top and bottom bar) only assigned to the start page (example: egmatingfussball.bplaced.net/fbat/index.php/item/16-ki-eg-cup.)

Anybody an idea how to fix this?

Modules in Joomla! are assigned to menu items.
If there is no menu items, the modules that are assigned to all pages will render.
In order to have full control over the modules, either the category or the item has to be assigned to a menu item.

Hey,

I'm not sure if I understand.

The slideshow module on the start page is only assigned to the start page!
I then have K2 categories assigned to a menu item ( here ). When I click on this menu item, I don't see the slideshow --> GOOD!
BUT. Once I click on one of those K2 articles and the article itself shows up, the slideshow module is there as well ( here ). --> NOT GOOD!
I have many articles and I can't assign them all to menu items...
So how is it done?
I know it can be done since the template demo here does it as well!

Are you using any SEO/SEF extensions, or is the template's framework using one?

I'm new to joomla.
What does this mean and how can I see if I'm using one?

I think you need to ask the template's developer about this issue.
