I use K2 for my site and K2 Tools to show breadcrumbs.

I would like to re-write my breadcrumbs.
Fx. my breadcrumb looks like this: Home | Activities | Sport

If I click on Activities my site will show me all articles within the category Activities and below.
But instead I would like to come to a page similar to my home page where I can add modules instead of just getting a list of articles.

BUT I want the path to be the same: www.website.com/activities

I also show the category at the bottom of each article. That link should also take me to the same site as described above.

How can I do this?

I think I found a solution, but I am no Joomla expert, so it might not be the right way of doing it.

I haven´t done any coding.
Under my K2 category (in my case the category "Activities") and then again under Layout grid I simply put all counts to 0. So Leading count = 0, Primary count = 0, etc.

Now when I click Activities in my breadcrumbs I get a blank page and I can now put up my different modules in other positions and create my sub page.

And from what I can see, I keep my SEO intact.

If you think this is the wrong way of doing it, please let me know.

This is a way of doing it.
You can also add eg: com_content views and keep the menu alias if you only want to publish modules.
