I'm new to blogging on the K2 platform and one of my users is a elderly woman who takes time to write and when she finishes she finds herself logged out - without a saved article.
Question one: Can you specify the time before she is logged out?
Question two: Can you save as a draft and continue later?

She loggs in from the front-end side

Yes, the session time is a Joomla! setting. It is located in your site's global configuration. As for drafts, you can save the item as unpublished.
