Hello,

I'm looking for a plugin that lets administrators know of new items posted, and that also lets admins and the author of the item know when there's a new comment awaiting approval.

If this does not exist in a single plugin, I'd be happy to use two separate ones too.

I'd need recommendations please. Basically, I'm the only admin and I'll need to know when anyone has posted either a new item or a new comment. But I would also need that the individual author of the item be notified when someone posts a comment, so he or she can approve it.

Hi Andy, we're just about to publish a couple of K2 plugins that might work for you in the short term. Our first two plugins should be up by early next week. One of them provides notification when a K2 item is added or changed, along with the differences, so that might work for you.. I'll post here with a link once its ready, if I'm not breaking any forum guidelines by doing so.

I'm also happy to have a look at your use case and see if we can put together something more specific.

@Andy I think AcyMailing used to offer plugins with that functionality.

Hi William, I've had some unrelated setbacks but for this plugin I'm just waiting for the payment processing setup to complete, then I'll be able to publish the plugins. It shouldn't take too much longer. Can you tell me more about your need?
