I wouldn't say OSMap is *the* successor to XMap, because the original developer didn't make anything official, but we're certainly a successor.

Give it a try. Hopefully you'll find we've fixed a lot of bugs and added some nice new features.

using XMap, i'm trying other Extensions on a Test-Site for Future. One of them is OSMap: Works like XMap, import all XMap-Setting, easy. If you want a quick Solution after XMaps dead, you can use OSMap.
